Founder, CEO & Executive Director
Maslah Abdi Dahir, professionally known as Maslah Arts, is a Somali visual artist and educator with more than 16 years of artistic experience. He founded Maslah Art Studio in 2024 to expand art education and creative opportunities for young people in Somalia. He leads the organisation’s vision, strategic development, partnerships and community programmes.
Board Member
Dahir Abdi Abdulle serves on the Board of Maslah Art Studio and contributes to the organisation’s governance and institutional development. His role includes supporting organisational oversight, strategic discussions and the long-term sustainability of MAS.
Board Member
Abdirisak Omar Salad is a member of the MAS Board, contributing to organisational direction, institutional accountability and development priorities. He supports the leadership team in strengthening the organisation’s structure and its future growth.
Executive Assistant, Secretary & Programs Coordinator
Farhia supports the executive office, internal administration, correspondence and organisational coordination. She also helps organise programme activities, maintain documentation and follow up on administrative and project responsibilities.
Head of Media and Marketing
Fariha leads media coordination, communications and promotional activities for MAS. Her responsibilities include supporting the organisation’s public image, documenting creative activities and sharing its programmes and achievements through appropriate media channels.
Art Instructor & Studio Manager
Khalid supports art instruction and the daily management of studio activities. His responsibilities include student registration, class coordination, practical training and making sure learners receive organised and accessible art education.
